Upcoming Events

On March 4, 5, and 6, all juniors in public schools in New Jersey will be taking the High School Proficiency Assessment (HSPA). This standardized test includes math and language arts sections.  Students must pass both of them in order to be eligible to graduate from high school.
Junior English and Math classes are currently preparing to take the test. We will be hosting a Junior Class assembly to motivate our students and are hosting various events around school to get students exited such as our Camel countdown outside of the main office.
Passing HSPA scores do not happen on their own.  They are the result of hard work by both our students and our teachers.  Our teachers expose the students to relevant English and Math Curriculum as well as test taking techniques which teaches them the skills they need to be successful.
We strongly urge you to motivate your child to do the best they can on this test and will answer and questions you may have by contacting the school at 732-905-3500.
The Administration and Staff at Lakewood High School would like to congratulate all students who achieved High Honor Roll and Honor Roll.
To celebrate these accomplishments, our 2nd marking period Honor Roll Breakfast will be held in the Commons. Junior/Senior Honor Roll Breakfast will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 8am. Freshman/Sophomore Honor Roll Breakfast will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 8 am. We wish you all continued success!
